Mazda RX-3 with a 500 whp Turbo 13B

Mazda RX-3 with a turbocharged 13B two-rotor

This Mazda RX-3 came from the factory with a 1.0 L 10A two-rotor. The sedan went to Pac Performance for their Street FD 13BT motor. The motor features a DBW throttle body, Garrett G42 turbocharger, Turbosmart ProGate50 wastegate, custom exhaust manifold, and 4-inch intercooler. Fuel is fed by three Walbro pumps through 2000 cc injectors controlled by a Motec M130 ECU. Pac Performance estimates the motor produces 500 hp (367 kW) to the wheels. Behind the motor is the dependable C4 three-speed automatic transmission and shortened 9-inch rear end. The car rides on Simmons FR1 19-inch wheels covering Wilwood four-piston brakes front and rear. The interior features Recaro Sportster CS front seats, Momo steering wheel with paddle shifters, Motec C127 digital display, and PCS transmission controller.
