This Chevrolet Nova arrived at KMP Speed Shop in St-Hubert, Qc, Canada for a new power plant. The company built and installed a turbocharged 5.3 L LSx V8 (Gen 4) featuring a LS9 camshaft, Flowtech LS turbo headers, Trick Flow heads, and Texas Speed intake manifold. The motor is assisted by a fuel system using Atomizer 550 lb/hr injectors and a KMP Speed Shop billet mechanical fuel pump drive kit with an Aeromotive 12 GPM pump. Boost is generated by a Pulsar 8685 turbocharger paired to Turbosmart 40 mm wastegates. Everything is controlled by a ECUmaster EMU Pro-16 standalone ECU. The motor produces 1297 hp (953 kW) on 32 psi (2.2 bar) of boost.
