1952 Power Wagon with a Cummins 24v

1952 Dodge Power Wagon with a Cummins 24v turbodiesel inline-six

Desert Power Wagons spent 3500 hours building this 1952 Dodge Power Wagon at their company in Castle Hayne, North Carolina. In the engine bay they installed a 5.9 L Cummins 24v turbodiesel inline-six making 305 hp (224 kW) and 555 lb-ft (752 Nm) of torque. The motor is paired to a 48RE four-speed automatic transmission. Behind that is a NV271 transfer case sending power to Yukon Gear axles with 4.56 ratio. The Power Wagon rides on a custom chassis with a 4-link front and rear suspension. A set of Eibach Race Offroad 3-inch springs and King 3-inch adjustable shocks handle offroad bumps. The suspension also uses Rancho steering stablizers and Moog adjustable track bar. Braking is handled by Wilwood Tactical Extreme TX6R six-piston brakes with GT-60 16-inch rotors front and rear. Desert Power Wagons covered the classic body in Absolute Black Pearl paint. The bed features oak wood floor with Bedwood stainless steel slats. Under the fenders are 4Play 4P70 20×10-inch wheels with Maxxis Razr MT 37×12.5-inch tires.
