Toyota Corolla with a Turbo Vortec 4200

Toyota Corolla with a turbocharged Vortec 4200 inline-six

Slighted Engineering spent many hours transforming a 1982 Toyota Corolla for the track. The car is powered by a turbocharged 4.2 L Vortec 4200 inline-six. The motor features a dry sump, VS Racing 7875 turbocharger, ECUMaster EMU Black ECU, and Snake Eater 1500 cc injectors. Behind the motor is a 4L60E four-speed automatic, 3500 stall converter, and GM 7.5-inch rear end with an Auburn limited-slip differential. The Corolla rides on Öhlins remote reservoir adjustable shocks, Mazda RX-8 front knuckles, Datsun 240Z steering rack, and custom 4-link rear suspension. A set of Hoosier R7 tires mounted on Circle Track steel wheels cover AFCO four-piston brakes front and rear. Slighted Engineering is selling the unique car on FB Marketplace.
