GTS Customs created this amazing 1963 Corvette at their company in California. The classic sports car went through Mecum auctions earlier this year.

Under the classic hood is a DOHC LT5 V8 from a 1990-1995 Corvette ZR1 built by John Lingenfelter at Lingenfelter Performance. The motor features an aluminum block with iron sleeves, Oliver forged 4340 steel rods, JE forged aluminum pistons, ported heads, and upgraded camshafts. Displacement increased from 350 ci (5.7L) to 368 ci (6.0L). The V8 produces 530 hp and 490 lb-ft of torque.

Behind the motor is a Centerforce twin-disc clutch surrounded by a Quicktime steel bellhousing. Bolted to that is a T56 six-speed manual transmission built by G-Force with a 2.98 1st gear and 0.73 6th gear. Power is directed to a Newman CarCreations housing with a Corvette Dana 44 rear end and Eaton Truetrac limited-slip differential with 3.54 ratio.

The Corvette rides on a Newman CarCreations modified C2 chassis with a C4 Corvette front suspension and rear suspension. Each corner received Ridetech adjustable shocks. GTS Customs designed and installed a set of cantilever coilovers in back.

GTS Customs improved the car’s braking using C6 Z06 6-piston calipers with 14-inch drilled rotors. Covering those are Forgeline Heritage RS6 wheels (19×10, 19×11) with Micheline Pilot Sport tires (255/30-ZR19, 325/30-ZR19). The timeless body is finished in Mercedes Arctic White paint.

On the inside you find C2 seats with 1967 headrests and Autometer Phantom gauges. The seats, dash pad, door panels, and kick panels are all covered in Saddle Tan leather. Relicate German weave carpet covers the floor and the headliner uses Relicate Versa Weave.
