BMW E30 with a Turbo M50 Reaches 159 mph on the Autobahn

The owner of Oldtimer Seats allowed AutoTopNL to drive their BMW 316i (E30) on the Autobahn. The classic sedan is powered by a turbocharged 3.1 L M50 inline-six paired with a ZF 8HP eight-speed automatic transmission. The motor features DP forged pistons, Maxpeedingrods rods, M52 head, Nuke fuel system, and Holset 62 mm turbocharger. It produces 608 hp (453 kW) and 750 Nm (553 Nm) of torque on a MaxxECU. The car suspension uses Bilstein shocks and Mazda RX-7 brakes. Covering those are Hartge 16-inch wheels wearing Nankang Sportnex AS-2+.
