1979 Chevy K3500 with a Duramax V8
This 1979 Chevrolet K3500 is powered by a 6.6 L Duramax (LBZ) V8 swapped by Dmax Swap and Ken Wolkens at Standalone Harness. It features Exergy oversized injectors, 65 mm turbocharger, and Mishimoto cooling stack. Danville Performance tuned the motor and it made 700 hp (514 kW). Each has ARB locking differentials and 4.10 ratios. The truck rides on a boxed frame with 52-inch leaf springs, Fox shocks, Moose Offroad ladder bars, and Torq big brake kit. The exterior features Corvette Steel Cities Gray paint accented by black grill and bumpers. Under the arches are Hostile 20×12-inch wheels with Yokohama Geolandar G003 37×13.5-inch tires.
