David Lehmann and his special VW Golf Mk2 attended the RoDrag Racing event at the Arad International Airport in Romania. While there David set a new personal best quarter-mile in 8.457 sec at 269.12 km/h (167.22 mph). The monster hatchback was built by Auto Kunze and Dutter Racing with a turbocharged 2.5 L Audi (DAZA) inline-five. Drag Media UK reports the motor produces 1050 hp (772 kW). Power is sent to four Hoosier slicks by a DQ500 seven-speed automatic transmission and 4Motion drivetrain.
