Ringbrothers’ 800 hp 1969 Mustang Mach 1

Ringbrothers unveiled their newest creation called “KINGPIN” at the 2025 SEMA Show. The company spent 5,500 hours creating the ultimate 1969 Mustang Mach 1.

The heart of the project is a supercharged 5.0 L Coyote V8 built by Wegner Automotive capable of 800 hp (588 kW). The motor features a Whipple supercharger and Ringbrothers’ custom exhaust headers. Behind the motor is a Bowler Carbon Edition six-speed manual transmission sending power to an independent rear end.

The Mustang sits on a custom Roadster Shop Fast Track Stage 3 chassis. It features a fully independent suspension with Fox RS SV adjustable coilovers and a 1.25-inch spline front sway bar. Keeping the 800 hp under control is a set of Brembo six-piston front brakes and four-piston rear brakes. Those are covered by HRE Vintage Series 517 wheels (19×10, 20×13) with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires (295/35, 345/30).

Ringbrothers applied their skills widening the body two inches and extending the wheelbase forward 1.5 inches. They reduced weight making custom carbon fiber hood, diffuser, and lower valance panel. Then they covered everything in BASF Glasurit “Bootleg Black” paint. Ringbrothers completed the exterior design with their 65-70 billet door handles, machined billet aluminum rear bumper, and 3d-printed taillights.

Steve Pearson at Upholstery Unlimited completed the custom black leather interior. The modern amenities include custom Dakota Digital gauges, Gentex GNTX-R auto-dimming rearview mirror, and Vintage Air Gen 4 Magnum AC system. Ringbrothers added their ENYO steering wheel and custom roll cage.
