1964 Dodge Polara with a Twin-Turbo HEMI
Roadster Shop built this 1964 Dodge Polara for Jesse James. The unique car is powered by a twin-turbo 426 ci (6.9L) HEMI V8 built by Wegner Motorsports. The motor is capable of 1500 hp (1118 kW) thanks to twin Garrett GTX3582R turbochargers connected to custom titanium exhaust manifolds. Behind the motor is a Bowler Carbon Edition T56 six-speed manual transmission. Behind that is a Driveshaft Shop driveshaft and 9-inch rear end with a Strange center section. After 3D scanning the car, Roadster Shop made a custom Fast Track chassis featuring a 4-link rear suspension, Penske adjustable coilovers, and Baer 14-inch brakes. The fenders and wells surround a set of Forgeline OE1 19-inch wheels with Nitto NT505R tires. View more photos of the car in the build album.
