BMW E92 M3 with a S85 V10 Update

Published in engineswapdepot.com

Last year we shared a BMW E92 M3 track project receiving several powertrain and suspension upgrades. The owner is swapping the factory 4.0 L S65 V8 and seven-speed DCT for a 5.0 L S85 V10 and Drench DG500 six-speed sequential transmission. The coupe is also receiving Intrax Suspension 4-way adjustable coilovers with remote reservoirs, AP Racing Pro 5000R front calipers and rotors, and Protrack 18×10.5-inch wheels. Since our last article the owner continued to work on the coupe. The V10 engine was cleaned up and had a Dailey Engineering dry sump pan. This will allow the motor to sit in the engine bay with the factory E92 M3 subframe and steering rack. The owner also installed an E60 M5 split radiator, AFFF fire extinguisher, and a set of air jacks. Follow the project’s progress at @5literv10.
