1988 Mercedes 300CE with a 2JZ-GTE

Published in engineswapdepot.com

Mercedes built this 1988 300CE with a 3.0 L M103 inline-six. In 2021 the owner swapped to a turbocharged 3.0 L Toyota 2JZ-GTE inline-six. The motor features a BorgWarner S366 SX-E 66 mm turbocharger, custom intake manifold, and DeatschWerks 1200 cc injectors. It runs on an AEM Infinity ECU and Wiring Specialties Pro Series wiring harness. The factory Mercedes transmission was also swapped for a T56 Magnum six-speed manual transmission using a Grannas Racing bellhousing and McLeod Racing clutch kit. The sedan also received Godspeed Project Mono-RS coilovers and SL500 disc brakes. Over those are Performa 25-style 17-inch wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 tires (205/45, 235/45). The car is for sale on Bring a Trailer located in Thousand Oaks, California.
