Toyota Starlet with a 2.7 L V8 Racing Schotten Hillclimb

Earlier this year we shared Mikko Kataja’s amazing VHT Racing Toyota Starlet on the dyno. The car had just swapped from Radical Precision Engineering’s (RPE) 2.6 L RPA V8 to their next generation 2.7 L RPX V8. Although Mikko did not state the motor’s exact output, he did share the unique motor reached his goal of 150 hp per liter. Mikko and the Starlet compete in the Berg-Cup and the video below show the second event with the new V8. He managed to be the fastest time of 1:19.754 in the Schotten hillclimb.
