LS9 Powered Widebody 1969 Camaro

When completed this will be one really unique 1969 Camaro. Under the hood will be GM’s supercharged LS9 crate engine and a custom built Viper based T-56 transmission. The frame will consist of an Art Morrison subframe and a custom built rear frame that will be built to handle 1,000 horsepower. When completed this will be one really unique 1969 Camaro. Under the hood will be GM’s supercharged LS9 crate engine and a custom built Viper based T-56 transmission. The frame will consist of an Art Morrison subframe and a custom built rear frame that will be built to handle 1,000 horsepower. A Detroit Speed & Engineering Quadralink rear end will be used to hold the power to the ground. The body will be widened five inches (2.5″ on each side) to accommodate Forgeline 18×10 up front, 19×14 in the rear and six piston Baer brakes all around. As far as I can tell I think this will be the first full widebody 1st Generation Camaro ever. The exhaust will be sent through the frame and out the sides before the rear tires.
