Fisker Swaps Electric for Big GM Muscle

Published in engineswapdepot.com

Are you in the market for a Fisker Karma without those exploding batteries? Or perhaps you are interested in a four-door Corvette ZR1 but without an engine bay moonroof? If so, Fisker has teamed up with GM to build your dream car, the VLP Destino. This is a Karma with either a 638 horsepower LS9 or a 550 horsepower LS7 instead of the four-cylinder gasoline/electric motor powerplant. They also modified the look (IMO for the better) by changing the design of front, back, and hood. Fisker reports the Destino is about 1,000 lbs lighter than the electric version.
