1953 Kaiser Manhatten 4 Door with a restored stock body and everthing else modified. There were 15,450 1953 – 4 door Kaisers produced. It took 2 donor cars to make this one plus 1 – 66 Thunderbird with 6 years and 5,500 man hours to create “Karens Kaiser”. This Kaiser is a mutiple award winner including 1st.place in the radical hard top catagory at the Grand National Roadster Show and the Sacramento Autorama.
Body: Restored stock – Paint is PPG “Hot Rods by Dean Green” with a white top – all stainless trim straightend and polished – chrome restored – all new glass with rear vent windows made stationary – fire wall filled and smoothed – “Karens Kaiser” script on front fenders instead of Kaiser Manhattan
Interior: Stock upper padded dash (lower dash removed) with restored instrument cluster & clock – 66 T-Bird floor pans from the fire wall to the package shelf – 66 T-Bird front & back seats – 66 T-Bird center console extended to the dash and lengthened 9″ to the back seat – hand formed panels at the transmission bulge – hand made glove box – handmade interior door trim that ties the dash chrome to the rear seat chrome and is made to mimic the exterior door scallops trim – Flaming River tilt steering column & steering wheel – Vintage Air A/C system – Custom Auto Sound radio w/ dual voice coil speakers – Lokar shifter, pedals & cables – custom upholstery by Glenn Kramer “Hot Rod Interiors” – 1948 Kaiser horn button adapted and mounted between back seats – Ron Fracis electeical panel and wiring kit used to rewire car – Trunk is upholstered in like materials with handmade spare tire cover hold down with “K” emblem from dash

The car has been used for car shows only and is why the milage is so low and no paint chips. There is a photo journal of the build and shows attended. All receipts, component manuals are available to purchaser. All the finish work was done by Hot Rods by Dean located in Phoenix Arizona.
