Unrestored 1973 AMC Ambassador Brougham station wagon for sale on Hemmings.com. From the seller’s description:
Absolutely gorgeous time capsule with only one owner from new and only 48,xxx actual miles! Still on the original 1973 PA title!
Purchased new at Hillview Motors in Greensburg PA. The dealership is still in business and the owners even remember selling this car new!
Ordered very well equipped with the Brougham option which included remote mirror, rear spoiler, luggage rack, power steering, power disc brakes, tinted glass, and Factory all-season air conditioning! Optional 3rd-row seat and posi-traction! Oh yeah and how about the optional 401 V8 with a 4 barrel carb!
This wagon has to be one of a kind! Fresh out of well-maintained storage, we have gone all over the car with a full tune-up of the brakes and the motor and a rebuilt carburetor. The car is in very nice unrestored condition. There is some minor wear on the rear bumper and a few nicks on the wood grain (see pictures). The interior is very nice with very little wear except for a small tear on the front passenger seat (see picture). To the best we can tell the paint is original with the exception of the passenger side rear fender which appears to have been touched up at some point. All of the lights and gauges work properly. The radio and horn work. The wagon runs excellent and the 401 really moves it!
