Hemmings Find of the Day – 1988 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme International

Published in

Original 1988 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme International Indy 500 event car for sale on From the seller’s description:

This car was acquired from the R E Olds Transportation Museum in Lansing, Michigan. The museum owned two of these Event Cars before raffling off this one as a fund raiser. The car was believed to be initially given to Lansing Community College by GM, then given to Charlotte High School, finally ending up at the Museum.

This is one of the finest and lowest mileage (1,396) examples of one of the rarest Indy Pace Car Editions of all time. It is believed less than 12 of the original 50 Event Cars still exist today, this car is one of only a few of those which has a regular, non-scrap, title and is therefore street legal. This rare car would be a great addition to any museum or private collection.
