Published in blog.hemmings.com

Unrestored 1954 Dodge Coronet for sale on Hemmings.com. From the seller’s description:

Perfect 1950’s Patina Classic!!

Here is a fresh barn find that you won’t find every day!

Only two owners not counting me and 52,000 original miles. The car is in very good condition for being 64 years old and it looks like it was repainted once in the 70’s. It has the 241 Red Ram Hemi with an automatic transmission. The car runs good with no smoke. It will move forward and backwards under its own power. However, it does have some problems.

No brakes (e brake still works)

Fuel pump isn’t pumping fuel. Installed a new pump but still nothing. I started the car with an electric fuel pump and a gas can.

Has a transmission fluid leak (rear seal or a line)

Rear end leak (pinion seal??)

All the light isn’t working but some are

This car has a very cool story. It was purchased brand new in Columbus Ohio in 1954. Sometime in the 70’s it was gifted to the original owners 16-year-old neighbor In 1985 the title was moved for the neighbors mom to him and no other actively since I bought the car. The car has spent most of the past 50 years moving for one warehouse to another but has always been in doors. A couple of good days and you will be cruising a sweet patina classic that you don’t see at every car show.
