From the seller’s description:
1993 Ford Mustang Cobra. This one-owner car is # 1385 of the 5100 Cobras produced and it has always been garaged and covered. A low mileage – 10,414 – Cobra that hasn’t gone very far nor has it ever left the state of Michigan. Ironic, because whenever I’ve been behind the wheel, this car has transported me a million miles from everywhere and while I can’t prove it, I’d swear it also has the ability to take me back in time. I’m listing this car for sale but, honestly, if Hemmings had a place where I could put it up for adoption, that would be my first choice because I’m not selling this car because I have to. I’m selling it because I should. This car needs to be taken out and enjoyed.
Like music, one’s taste in cars is very personal and that’s exactly why I have this Cobra equipped the way it is. As delivered, Ford gave me a great sound system. I just added some talent in June of ’98. I recruited Vortech’s supercharger, BBK’s H-pipe, and then I uncapped that 5.0’s performance through a pair of Flowmasters. I upgraded the rear rubber and rims rotation to a 3:73 to 1 ratio, and I replaced the factory baton with a Hurst stick. With this car, you can rock The Woodward Dream Cruise during the day and dress to the nines and head off to the Fox Theatre for a Broadway performance that same night.
