Sixties-built 1929 Ford Model A hot rod for sale on Hemmings.com. From the seller’s description:
Built between 1960-1965 for street and strip racing, from a rust free, genuine Henry Ford Tudor Sedan body with NOS fenders.
Engine is a 440ci raised block Chrysler V8. Dome pistons, solid lifter camshaft, adjustable roller rockers, port and polished Stage V cylinder heads, Cross Ram intake with dual 600cfm Holley carburetors, dual point distributor, home built headers and a genuine Moon fuel tank.
Transmission is a heavy duty synchronized 3-speed by Chrysler that is genuine max wedge as is the Hurst Shifter with handle turned backwards for clearance.
Front suspension is a 40 Ford I-Beam axle with split wishbones and 48 Ford brakes.
Rear end is 57-64 Olds/Pontiac with a 4.56 Posi-Traction and a ladder bar suspension.
Original paint “Candy Blue” from 1965. Has a great patina and in very good condition for it’s age. Still shows well.
Upholstery is black diamond tuck and roll in excellent condition. Also has a competition roll bar. Instruments are original and all Stewart Warner in working condition.
Car rolls on the original American Racing Magnesium 5 spoke wheels with M&H Racemaster 15×10 Piecrust Slicks.
This car is not restored, it is original and a true time capsule. It is a real genuine Hot Rod from the 1960’s in excellent running condition. It is loud, fast and a blast to drive! A real head turner. Excellent for the collector, cruiser or racer. Ready to drive!
