Hemmings Find of the Day – 1963 Mercury Colony Park

Published in

Four-speed 1963 Mercury Colony Park for sale on From the seller’s description:

This 1963 Colony Park wagon was and is reported to be one of the 12 wagons donated by Mercury to the NHRA for the 1963 nationals at Pomona Ca. While I haven’t been able to achieve the proof from either Ford or the NHRA, as a standalone wagon it is still rare. It meets the specifications for that group of wagons that were donated at that time.

With that in mind she is fully equipped and optioned, missing only the Windshield squirter option, (I have no idea why) but has every other option from the factory. Original 390 Marauder 4 bbl powerplant, 3:89 rear end, and factory 4 spd. Yes correct factory 4 spd. Also has am fm radio, power windows and seat, air conditioning, 9 passenger seating.

The car speaks for itself in the pictures and I have documentation of the frame on restoration that was completed in Sept of 2016. She was invited to the Hemmings concours show as well that year. All mechanicals are rebuilt as well, much NOS parts and rechromed originals.
