Mildly upgraded 1965 Buick Skylark Gran Sport, for sale on Hemmings.com. From the seller’s description:
This car is an original matching #’s car. It has the 401 ci engine(moderate cam) with headers and the optional dual “trouble free” CARTER AFB carbs, It has a rare 4-peed manual BORG WARNER TRANSMISSION with Muncie shifter. Don’t know the exact rear end, but it is a posi and runs around 3000rpm @ 70mph. It has the factory tachometer option which came located in the hard consolette. VINTAGE AIR has replaced the original factory air, but kept the original vents.(compressor was relocated ) It is cooled by a huge custom built aluminum radiator and dual high speed 12″ Spal electric fans. The car has power steering and power brakes, and the clock even works. Has 15×8 American Racing wheels(PVD finish) with center tribars. Tires are 245’s with very little wear. Car drives, rides and handles great, and has lots of power(my guess would be around 375HP) I have driven to shows up to 5 hours away with no problems running 65-70 mph(13.5 mpg). I do not know how to grade cars, but i believe the quality of this car certainly falls above the price range i’m asking.
