Anybody unlucky enough to get a noise ticket from the city of Royal Oak during this month’s Woodward Dream Cruise is getting a reprieve thanks to one lawyer’s work, according to the Detroit Free Press.
* Pure Detroit’s legal tours of the under-restoration Packard plant in Detroit, as Crain’s Detroit reported this month, have met with positive reviews.
* Not too many — if any — drag racers can claim to have remained in the sport since 1951, but Idaho’s Larry Hale has, according to a recent Idaho Statesman profile of the 82-year-old.
