From the seller’s description:
Up for sale is my 1988 Ford Bronco, 50,583 actual mile, 1 owner, Silver on Grey, 351 V8, that is by far the nicest bronco I have ever seen besides when they were new. The truck is completely original and correct from front to back and has had a wonderful home for the past 30 years. Has clean 1-owner Carfax and a very cool history.
I purchased the truck from the original owner a couple years ago and put it into my small collection of cars. The truck was special ordered and sold new at Darwin Ford right outside of Duluth, Minnesota. The original owner, who was a pilot and flight instructor for over 25 years, lived in Superior, Wisconsin, which is only a 10-15 minute drive across the bridge from the dealership. He kept the car in his private hanger for the entirety of his ownership and said that he only ever took the Bronco out in the summers on nice days, as he had a work pick-up for the winter months and usually spent his winters down south anyway.
The condition of the truck is outstanding and impresses me every time I look at it. I believe the original owner when he said that this truck never saw a winter, it doesn’t have any rust issues to even think of mentioning. Everything from the paint, to the glass, the chrome/stainless, how straight the body is, how it runs and drives. The truck is a non-smoker, has plenty of factory options, everything works including cold blowing A/C. I’m surprised that the truck has as many miles as it does for how well it looks. The pictures should show how nice the truck is (or at least pretty well close I hope).
As far as what I’ve had to do to the truck, it hasn’t been much. I had a full service performed on the truck earlier this spring, installed new correct tires, and I replaced on of the chrome wheel-arch trim pieces that had a small dent in it. It has all of the factory books, extra keys, warranty Info, and brochures from the dealer.
