1960 Austin-Healey Sprite with period-correct Judson supercharger. From the seller’s description:
This very unique Austin Healey Bugeye will certainly turn heads and make people smile at car shows where ever you go. It started out as a Leaf Green Sprite and now is Primrose Yellow (I can not verify paint code). Its a wonderful car that has most all of its original items including manual, tools, jack, and side windows!
Its had some upgrades that are easy to switch back to stock but I doubt many will want to. The Judson Supercharger is period correct and when matched to the upgraded 1098cc motor this car has a significant increase in performance over stock 948cc cars. The spin on oil filter makes changing oil simple and easy and the oil cooler along with electric fan keeps temperatures under control in all driving conditions. Below is a list of things that are stock and then the modifications:
Gauges and ignition switch are all stock except for the boost gauge that was added when supercharger was installed
Dash is stock along with the dimmer switch on the underside at the left. This is often been removed and its nice to see its still attached.
Generator is stock along with the tach drive. Its a small gear drive off the back of generator that is often missing.
Seats and seat pans are original. The black seat covers have been installed on top of the original vinyl.
The aluminum surround is in remarkably good condition, it has been polished to a nice satin sheen.
Radiator is stock.
Wheels and hub caps are original.
Heater motor and heater radiator are stock and in working order but are not hooked up.
Windshield wiper motor is original and is in working order.

Judson Supercharger which has been rebuilt
1098 cc motor which is much better suited with supercharger than the 948 motor

Wooden steering wheel which is often preferred due to its slightly smaller diameter
Munroe tube shocks front and back (stock Armstrong lever shocks have been left installed too)
Original SU carbs and manifolds are available
This is a great driver and is ready to go. The paint has normal road chips and it appears at one time the front right fender has been hit and has been repaired. The inside of the bonnet and inner wheel arch show slight damage. The floors have been replaced. The new metal is not factory replacement but seem to be more than adequate. The motor has great compression and oil pressure and starts right up. The carpets are new and the upholstery on seats show slight wear. Emergency brake is not operating. I believe its just adjustment that is needed. Wheel cylinders do not leak nor does master cylinder or any axels seals. Windscreen glass is in very good condition as is the seal for the glass. All the aluminum surrounds and windshield posts are polished to a satin finish and are in excellent shape.
There are two convertible tops, one is black and one is white and one tonneau cover that is white. The tonneau cover is in great shape but will not fit unless modified due to the roll bar. The white convertible top fits fine but needs repair where mice have eaten a whole in it. There is a new black top that can go with the car. IT has not been fitted with snaps and grommets.
