St. Tropez pickup converted 1979 Lincoln Continental Mark V for sale on Hemmings.com. From the seller’s description:
This car was in the previous owners family since 1982 and they bought it from a family friend who bought it new. The car has 21,400 undocumented miles but appears to be original mileage by the overall condition of the car including the under carriage and the former owners word. The car is pretty much all original including most of the paint, the body does have some surface rust in various areas but no rust through, it would benefit from a complete paint job. The all original interior is very nice including a crack free dash, steering wheel, glass and nice leather seats and carpet. The spare tire and jack are in a compartment behind the seats with an electric opening door. The car is powered by a 400/2V, power steering, brakes, seats, windows, cruise control, a/c, tilt wheel, am/fm with an 8 track player, 4 wheel disc brakes. Overall the car is in very good condition except for the paint. I did a tune-up, including new spark plugs, cap, rotor, wires, air filter, breather element, oil change and filter. I rebuilt the carburetor, it has new Hankook Optimo 225/75/15 tires and an alignment was done, new shocks, new horns, new battery cables, new brake master cylinder. The car runs, rides, shifts, and handles very nice. It has a white vinyl roof that’s in good shape. Original owners manual with protect-o-plate included and a description sheet from the conversion company, it has a clean title in my name. I doubt if you’ll see any of these around, especially being 39 years old and they were a very limited production to begin with.
