The rear suspension features twin-leaf springs and drum brakes. The powertrain consists of two rebuilt 355 ci SBC V8 engines with Holley 600 cfm carburetors, TH400 three-speed automatic transmission, and 1993 Jeep Cherokee rear end. The engines and transmission are mounted to a custom subframe made from 2x4x1/8 rectangular tubing that connects to the chassis using rubber mounts. The seller estimates the 17-foot-5-inch vehicle weighs close to 4,000 lb and averages 7.5 mpg from a 20 gallon aluminum fuel tank.
