Hemmings Find of the Day – 1956 Lincoln Premiere

Published in

Driveable dream 1956 Lincoln Premiere for sale on From the seller’s description:

Stylish cruiser to go to the movies or to get ice cream with the family. I added additional lap belts so 6 people can ride buckled up. Driven during the summer, freshly rebuilt automatic transmission. First year Lincoln went to 12v. All the power windows work, all glass and chrome and emblems intact (the one exception is the lincoln script missing from the hood). Even the factory AM “town and country” radio works. Interior has been cleaned up but is still stock. Drives smooth and purrs down the road. 92K original miles. Only needs rocker work, replacing the rear taillight lens that I cracked, and fresh paint, or not. It has all the trim and knight emblems. I have rear fender skirts but they are not matching. It’s a driver not a trailer queen. I let kids sit in it at the car shows. They can’t all say “do not touch” after all. Measure your garage to make sure all 18’6” will fit. Has original spare and jack and loads of style.
