Daily Briefing: Swinging Under the Stars at the Larz Anderson Museum; Matchbox Car Show coming to Hershey

The organizers at the Larz Anderson Museum will host a swinging good time to close out the summer. You are invited to bring your pre-WWII cars and period fashions for a car show on the Great Lawn, then dance the night away with “The Wolverine Jazz Band.”

The show is scheduled for August 31 with the car show beginning at 4:00 p.m. and the “doors” to the tent opening at 6:00 p.m. Catering and cash bar will be available with dance lessons to prepare you to kick up your heels.

Ticket prices include admission to the museum, tent access, appetizers, food stations and dessert, dance lessons, a chance to win a special door prize and dancing to “The Wolverine Jazz Band.” The Larz Anderson Museum is located in Brookline, Massachusetts. Visit for more information.

A Matchbox Toy show will take place in Hershey this September at the AACA Museum. Hosted by The Diecast Toy Exchange, this show will be a great chance for you to enjoy some miniature cars as well as full-size cars in one place.
