I have a letter from the president of the Trans Am Javelin registry confirming this is a real one. California car very solid hard to find all original sheet metal car! This is an original 36000 mile car. This car sat in a garage from 1983 to 2013. It has the original 390 cubic inch motor and trans and original 391 gears in rear end all born with drive train. The motor has been rebuilt has approximately 400 miles on it. Trans shifts smooth along with a new center force clutch and pressure plate. Motor has a group 19 cam and an original group 19 R4B intake. It also has an original nos group 19 holley 950 3 barrel carburetor. All the parts used on the restoration were nos factory parts. This is a very rare piece of history from the trans am racing series period. The last two pictures were taken before the restoration to show the originality and authenticity of a real TA Javelin. I have many more pics of before the restoration if anyone is serious about purchasing. Be one of the few in the world with a real one that has very low mileage and all original metal ! Perfect car for a museum or your collection. I do have original wheels, intake manifold, carburetor, valve covers with the date code tag on still.
