This Thunderbird is a one family since new original very well preserved, garage kept, low mileage (30,XXX) in Raven Black with Black Interior, a true survivor! Actually have an original key case from C&S Ford Willimantic, CT the dealership that sold this car. Statistics for this rare bird according to the Marti report. It is 1 of 37 with the Raven Black Paint and Trim code. It’s 1 of 183 with the Raven Black paint code. The body is straight (no signs of accidents, although there is a small dent in the trim at the left rear), Door, hood, trunk gaps are very good, a few small chips here and there. The hood has a small defect at the right rear of the hood. Original paint has high gloss, belying its 50 years of age. Original chrome is in very good condition, as is the interior, a small tear resides in the driver’s seat as well as some slight vinyl cracks in this seat. Despite spending its life in New England (CT & NH) no rust. The car has had typical maintenance performed as well as the following, plus more, tilt-away-steering column repaired as the tilt does not work 2017, recently Front brakes resurfaced 2018, New tires 2018, new plug wires, new cap, rotor, points in 2018. New thermostat, gasket, coolant system was flushed, checked for leaks and fresh coolant 2019, New PCV valve 2019, there is a small oil leak in/near the valve covers. Documentation includes Elite Marti Report, Build sheet, original warranty book, 2 copies of the Owner’s Manuals, Dealership Thunderbird Sales Brochure, Repair Manuals as well as a CD that has an electronic version of all repair manuals, schematics for this car, registrations, title, insurance cards. The Tilt away steering column does not work, so the steering wheel is locked in normal driving position and it will need a new column for the tilt away to operate.
