Hemmings Find of the Day – 1968 Mercury M-100

Published in

Straight-six 1968 Mercury M-100 pickup for sale on From the seller’s description:

Almost extinct-rare?

Just recently, professionally rebuilt its’ 302 engine, I have receipt proof, runs powerfully. Entire brake system completely redone. Truck is mechanically sound all the way around, etc..etc…

I have clear title showing that it is, an authentic, Mercury M-100

Brief history: As you may know, 1968 was the last year Ford Mercury built and sold the M-100 truck in Canada only, with just 300 built Nov-Dec 1967. Because of its legendary straight six engine, for lucky owners, the M-100 truck was an enduring workhorse for decades, as such, most owners drove them to the ground. Therefore because there were so few built yet were such beneficial gutsy trucks, few have survived, leaving scarcely any to become collectibles!
