The first of 19 Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato Continuations.

Aston Martin’s Heritage Division headquarters in Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire, UK, has produced the first of 19 DB4 GT Zagato Continuations that will be made available to the public. The first one, coated in fiery “Rosso Maja” red paint, will be shown at the 24 Hours of Le Mans on Saturday, June 15.

The continuation series are hand crafted in an effort to get as close as possible to the DB4 GT Zagato’s original specifications. All 19 will be powered by a 390hp 4.7-liter inline-six that puts power to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. At £6 million (around $7.6 million), the DB4 GT Continuation is Aston Martin’s most expensive new car ever.
