Hemmings Find of the Day – ex-Bondurant Driving School 1999 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor

Published in

From the seller’s description:

This amazing 1999 Crown Vic was built for Motorsports legend Bob Bondurant. Not just for his driving school but for his personal use as well. It is the very first “Cobra Vic” ever built by another legend Jack Roush. It was rigorously engineered and developed by racing professionals. Every detail was to get the maximum performance from a full-size sedan to train high performance driving techniques. It comes with a binder full of documents from development to maintenance. This car is one of only 18 built during the turn of the century. It led to the development by the now defunct Mercury division of Ford infamous Mercury Marauder. It has always been a hit at car shows and even graced the pages of the November 2008 issue of Hemmings Muscle Machines magazine pages 68 thru 73. It is quite an impressive accomplishment from the engineers from Roush Industries and Bondurant. Below is a list of what Roush engineered above and beyond what came with the heavy-duty equipment of a Ford Crown Vic Police Interceptor!
