The Henry Ford has a number of concept cars in its collections, but it also has a good amount of concept-car-related items, too, like this Chrysler Falcon scale model, as we see in this recent post rounding up some of the more noteworthy items in its collections.

* We recently heard from New Zealanders Steve and Sue Keys who have embarked on a restoration of the Diamond T-based Texaco tanker truck they discovered and are sharing every step of the process on their blog.

* Tony Thacker recently took a stab at clearing up some of the confusion about the ultimate fate of Mickey Thompson’s Harvey Aluminum Special dragster after Thompson had to leave it behind in England.

* So Ford bought the Michigan Central Station in Detroit and plans to clean it up. The Detroit Historical Society has more on the grand old building that somehow still stands all these years later.

* Mac’s Motor City Garage recently posted about this prewar dry lakes hot-rod footage on YouTube that features plenty of noteworthy hot rods before they became legends.
