1965 Pontiac Bonneville 2-door hardtop for sale. From the seller’s description:
This car is very original and only has 39k miles on it. The interior is all original except for the carpet which was replaced recently and the exterior was repainted the original Mayfair Maize (yellow) last summer along with the white roof. It’s equipped with the 389 V8 with 2 barrel carburetor and Turbo 400 automatic transmission. It runs and drives good for a 52 year old car. I just bought the car in April for my wife and I to cruise around in on nice summer days but she says now that it’s “too big” for her so she wants me to sell it and get something smaller. (It’s 18′ 6″ long and 6′ 9″ wide. LOL) I recently had some work done to it including all 4 ball joints and the center link replaced, one of the rear axle bearings replaced, and I installed new front shocks. I installed an AM-FM radio in the glove compartment and hid the speakers under the front seat and I installed a new antenna too. (The original AM radio doesn’t work.) I installed a new license plate light assembly and a new cigarette lighter element (for charging my cell phone-we don’t smoke). I also had 2 new mufflers installed because the glass packs that were on it were pretty loud. It recently had a complete tune up to include new spark plugs, points, condenser, rotor and distributor cap. The horn didn’t work so I installed a button next to the ignition switch for it and it works great now. There was no spare tire so I bought a 14″ Pontiac rim and had a new radial put on it but there is no jack. I’ve put about 1400 miles on it since April and the engine runs cool even on 90 degree days. I have an original owner’s manual for it as well as a factory shop manual and a 48 page brochure which covers all models of Pontiac for 1965.
