A brilliant CEO can take it to great heights, while a poor one can destroy it. Over more than a century of making cars, Citroën has had both types of leader, sometimes in the same person. They’ve survived Nazi occupation, bankruptcy, twice, but the Citroën name has endured. It even spawned a spin-off brand – DS, named after one of Citroën’s most innovative cars.
