Concours rotisserie restored award winning 1962 Chevrolet Impala SS 409 “lightweight” 1 of 3 known to exist. Extremely rare factory aluminum front end (fenders, inner fenders and hood) with special factory “Service Package” high performance Z11 409 (420CI) dual quad engine with all correct components with radio and heater delete. Only 311 Actual miles since new and still wearing all of its original sheet metal and finished in its highly desirable factory original colors of Black with Red interior. Completely gone over front to back in late 2016 by world renowned restorer Scott Tiemann of Supercar Specialties and unveiled and shown at the prestigious 2016 MCACN muscle car show where it scored 987 points out of 1000 earning it Concours Gold award along with picking up a sponsors top pick award. Owner history is known back to the early 1960’s with previous owners including well known chassis builder Don Hardy and drag racer Kelly Chadwick this is also the car Mr. Chevrolet Dick Harrell drove to victory at the 1963 Winter Nationals.
