Slant six-powered 1964 Dodge Dart for sale on Hemmings.com. From the seller’s description:
I purchased this 1964 Dodge Dart GT from a guy that got it from Shreveport, LA. In the pictures you can see there is no rust in the underbody. This car is an original, with I think all the body panels that came on it. The engine was overhauled in Dec. 2014. The engine was bored and new pistons, rings, bearings, oil pump, exhaust manifold, water pump, hard valve seats, valves, lifters, cam, timing chain set, and new distributor with electronic ignition. The transmission was cleaned and the bands adjusted, a new filter and fluid added. The front end was completely rebuilt, and new urathane bushings were installed, along with ball joints, tie rod ends, and pitman arm.
The car has manual steering, and I added a double master cylinder and booster. The radiator was cleaned and has no leaks. New carpet and headliner, along with a new windshield, and windshield gasket and locking strip were installed. The dealer added Air works but was converted to 134a.
I just added duel exhaust, a new mini starter and new rallye wheels and new radial tires. The car is a survivor and has not been restored. The car is a 10 footer, as the paint is so-so. All the gauges work and I have invested a lot more money in it than I will get out. I have all reciepts for parts purchased. I even have a copy of the title from the person that owned it in Shreveport. The car drives very good and has been fun taking it to car shows and cruise nights. But I am going to have to moove soon so I need to sell the car.
